Hello, and welcome!

Hola, hallo, kumusta, and hello! Welcome to our humble little corner of the blogosphere. We’re the blog of Sugarfoot & Ry Famventures, and we chronicle the family adventures of myself, Theresa (aka, Sugarfoot), a single working mom to my trusty side-kick tot, Ry. Through this blog, we hope to provide you with entertaining tales and informative content about family-friendly sites and unique fun spots in the SoCal (Southern California) region, as well as elsewhere in the good ol’ U.S. of A. You’ll also find musings and gab about single motherhood and such, as well as reviews of services and products we’ve utilized. We’re PR friendly!

Ultimately, it’s my wish that our blog will inspire families to engage in the myriad of activities available to kids of all ages. My thought is, whether you’re a single parent or belong to a nuclear household, don’t let the trappings of everyday life limit the fun you can have with your children. You only live once and your kiddos only have one childhood so enjoy it! From playgrounds to museums to airplane flights and train rides, there’s a plethora of experiences to expose your offspring to, as well as delight in with them. So why not do it now?
